Woman charged after police officer shot in Nottingham

Aisha Zaman, 27, of Collison Street, Hyson Green, has been charged with possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of that firearm with intent, following the shooting of a police officer in Nottingham. The officer is in a stable condition in hospital with a wound to his foot. Zaman has been remanded in custody.
