MI5 chief warns AI could enable bioweapon attacks

MI5 Director General Sir Ken McCallum has warned that artificial intelligence is "supercharging" security threats to the UK, including the potential for terrorists to develop bioweapons. He also noted that the state threats caseload has quadrupled in the past decade and that right-wing extremists are increasingly likely to consider attacks.
