Met Police to reduce enforcement of tag breaches

The Metropolitan Police is running a pilot scheme under which officers will not automatically respond to some low-level electronic tag breaches, unless there is a risk to the public. The force says it responds to more than 100 tagging breaches a day, many with no consequences in the court system.
