Hayadulla Turkmani, 53, was sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on Wednesday for causing Michael Ashton's death by dangerous driving. He was unanimously acquitted by jurors of murder and manslaughter after two-and-a-half days of deliberations, after running over and killing the customer who had been sick in the back seat of his car.
